    Genetic IVF<\/strong> represents the combination of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with pre-implantation genetic testing that identifies<\/strong> chromosomal irregularities in embryos, known as aneuploidies (PGT).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Aneuploidies<\/strong> of the egg and later of the embryo are very common and increase<\/strong> with the woman’s age. They are responsible for the decrease in pregnancy rates with age, many implantation failures<\/strong> and most miscarriages.<\/p>\n

    PGT<\/strong>\u00a0is used to select chromosomally normal embryos, improving<\/strong> pregnancy rates and reducing implantation failure and miscarriage. As a result, the probability of a live birth increases<\/strong> and the time needed to achieve it is reduced.<\/p>\n

    This technique is now considered to be an almost routine complementary procedure to IVF\/ICSI<\/strong> treatments to increase their efficacy.<\/p>\n
